37:140

إِذْ أَبَقَ إِلَى الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ

Fuggì sulla nave stipata.

37:141

فَسَاهَمَ فَكَانَ مِنَ الْمُدْحَضِينَ

Quando tirarono a sorte, fu colui che doveva essere gettato [in mare].

37:142

فَالْتَقَمَهُ الْحُوتُ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌ

Lo inghiottì un pesce, mentre si rammaricava.

37:143

فَلَوْلَا أَنَّهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْمُسَبِّحِينَ

Se non fosse stato uno di coloro che glorificano Allah

37:144

لَلَبِثَ فِي بَطْنِهِ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ

sarebbe rimasto nel suo ventre fino al Giorno della Resurrezione.
