وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِنْ قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا هُمْ أَظْلَمَ وَأَطْغَىٰ

അതിന് മുമ്പ് നൂഹിന്‍റെ ജനതയെയും (അവന്‍ നശിപ്പിച്ചു.) തീര്‍ച്ചയായും അവര്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ അക്രമവും, കൂടുതല്‍ ധിക്കാരവും കാണിച്ചവരായിരുന്നു.
