88:1

هَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ الْغَاشِيَةِ

Nje oro nipa ohun t’o maa bo eda mole ti de odo re

88:2

وُجُوهٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ خَاشِعَةٌ

Awon oju kan yoo wale (ni ti iyepere) ni ojo yen

88:3

عَامِلَةٌ نَاصِبَةٌ

Onise asekudorogbo (ni won nile aye)

88:4

تَصْلَىٰ نَارًا حَامِيَةً

Won maa wo inu Ina t’o gbona janjan (ni orun)

88:5

تُسْقَىٰ مِنْ عَيْنٍ آنِيَةٍ

Won si maa fun (won) ni omi gbigbona mu
